Occupational Therapy
Our Services
Children grow and learn through play, movement, and everyday experiences. Pediatric occupational therapy helps children develop the skills they need to participate successfully at home, school, and in the community.
Some children have difficulty with everyday activities because of challenges with sensory processing, fine motor development, coordination, motor planning, visual motor skills, self-regulation, or independence with daily routines. These challenges can make dressing, eating, handwriting, playing with peers, or participating in classroom activities more difficult.
If your child is struggling with everyday tasks, our occupational therapists can determine the underlying causes and develop an individualized treatment plan. Through engaging, play-based therapy, we help children build the skills and confidence they need to become more independent while making everyday activities easier and more enjoyable.
At Speech4Kids, pediatric occupational therapy is individualized, evidence-based, and centered around play. Children learn best when they are engaged and having fun, so our therapists use motivating activities that target specific developmental goals while encouraging confidence and independence.
We believe that therapy should be fun, collaborative, and family-centered. By building on each child’s strengths, we help children gain the confidence and skills they need to succeed at home, at school, and in their community.
